THE NEW LOOK BYNG STREET IS OPEN!
The café re-opened last week after a month of extensive renovations and we are so excited to share the new space with all our customers.
The café has a fresh new look, offering a more functional space for everyone. We’ve opened the whole place up – it’s lighter, brighter & fresher!
We’re now offering table service, so you can sit back and relax while sipping on the same great Allpress coffee.
The menu still includes plenty of the Byng Street favourites (like the Breaky Roll or the BLT), but we have also added to the menu, with additional breakfast items, as well as some more substantial dining options for lunch, like the Lamb Burger with beetroot relish and cumin mayonnaise (served with shoestring fries) and the Crispy Skin Salmon with pea mash and fennel salad.
The breakfast menu runs from 7am-12noon and the lunch menu from 12pm-3pm. We’re now licensed, so you can enjoy a glass of wine or a cool beer with your lunch (from 11am-5.30pm).
We’re so proud of the new look Byng Street and look forward to welcoming old and new customers.
We’d like to thank all our friends, family and staff members for their support during the renovations and the re-opening week. We couldn’t have done it without you!
The new look Byng Street Local Store.
Same great coffee, whole new look.
We’re open Monday to Friday, 7am-6pm and Weekends, 7am to 3pm.
Stay tuned for details about the Byng Street nights – coming soon!

Byng Street Menu
Byng Street Local Store offers a range of tasty menu items throughout the day, as well as our freshly baked muffins and delicious cookies, slices and sweet treats.
Breakfast includes the “famous and delicious” Breaky Roll (if you haven’t tried this signature, you must!). The new lunch menu includes classics like the Lamb Burger with beetroot relish & cumin mayonnaise (served with shoestring fries) or the Crispy Skin Salmon, plus loads more. We also have lunch specials changing weekly, along with our fridge full of fresh, tasty goodies to take away.
In all aspects of our business, we use local produce, from the beautiful Central West, whenever we can, including Trunkey Creek Bacon’s smoked streaky bacon, cut ‘wafer’ thin and eggs from local chickens at Hillside Harvest, Borenore.
